Leroy Loggins is perhaps the only player fit to challenge Andrew Gaze for the title of the best player in the history of the NBL. His 17 seasons in the NBl have him in the top 3 in total games played. He has 10 All NBL first team selections in 17 years, and 3 M.V.P awards and he has scored over 20ppg in all 17 seasons of his NBL career. He is one of the leagues most respected players and a lot of that has to do with winning. 3 NBL championships, 2 with Brisbane and 1 with the Adelaide Bearcats. Leroy turns 40 on the twelth of December 1997, but he signed for two more seasons. Leroy will have to lead a young and inexperienced Bullets team this year with just four players remaining from last years squad. Leroy Loggins leads the Bullets in: Games played, Feild Goal attempts, Feild Goals made, Points scored, Free Throws attempted, Free Throws made, Assists, Blocks, Steals, Defensive assists, Fouls, Turnovers, Defensive Rebounds, Offensive Rebounds, Total Rebounds, and Team M.V.P awards. Born in New Brunswick on the east coast of the USA, Loggins initially started his NBL career with the troubled Bullets of 1981, however his first NBL championship came the following year with the West Adelaide Bearcats. In 1984 Loggins returned to Brisbane and he became the Bullets most consistent and popular player. .
