Scott ninnis is coming into his second season in his second stint with the Adelaide 36ers. He has had some of his best seasons with Adelaide and he will again give ggod support off the bench. Ninnis's first big season was in 1992 with the South East Melbourne Magic wher he won a championship and had a breakthrough year personally. He averaged 12.2ppg, 2.6rpg, over 1 steal per game while shooting 50% from the floor. This sort of form made him a popular off season recruit and he was signed by the Adelaide 36ers. He had an even better season than his last averaging 20.1ppg, 4.4rpg, 2.9apg and again over 1 steal per game as he kept his great defensive record intact. His offence was a real bonus for the 36ers and he was in the best form of his career. He also was selected to come off the bench for the Austrlain Boomers. His numbers dropped in 1994 but his numbers were still respectable, (13.5ppg 3.1apg 2.2rpg). But in 1995 in a crowded and talented sixers back court Ninnis struggled for time and his form had left him. A fresh start was on the cards for Ninnis as he was signed by the Newcastle Falcons. He had a usual Ninnis season providing the young Falcons with tough defence and some occasional offence. However he did not resign with the Falcons. He tried out with the Canberra Cannons, he played the pre season with the Cannons before returning to Adelaide.
